A little random, but while I was watching the episodes of season 4, I realized why I didn’t care for Anna in the first place. It was because she was trying to come between Dean and Castiel.
Doesn't she know their love is epic.
But now that I think about it, I really hate that they made Anna go crazy and then she ended up dead. Why couldn’t she be a possible angel that might help them like Gabriel. IDK. I just started thinking about it.
Then I started thinking about what a douche Sam was in season 4. I didn’t pay any attention to it at first, but then I really saw what some people were talking about. Don’t get me wrong I still love Sam, but I’m just saying.
He was lost after he saw Dean die, but why did he turn to Ruby. Why didn’t he turn to Bobby, who wanted to be there for him? Then in Metamorphosis, episode 4, Dean warned about everything that might happen about trusting Ruby and he was right about it all. Sam finally got his brother back but that wasn’t good enough. He had to keep drinking demon blood, so he could feel stronger. I think he liked the feeling of strength that he got with drinking demon blood.
Then in Sex and violence. What Sam said under the influence of the siren’s spell really pissed me off. He really couldn’t understand why Dean was so messed up about being in hell, or he didn’t try to understand. All he could focus on is that Dean wasn’t the same, and he wasn’t strong enough.
Season 4 just breaks my heart because they really mess with the boys’ relationship. L
But, I love that season.
I think it has something season 5 is missing, and I’ve heard said before. It had a great balance of monster of the week episodes and myth arc episodes, and most of the time the monster of the week episodes continued to address myth arc episodes.
Very few of the monster of the week episodes felt like fillers because they always addressed some issue, but this season from 5.5 to 5.9 felt like fillers. They didn’t lend anything to the story. However the episodes shown after the long winter hiatus haven’t really been like that. Episodes 5.11 to now have been building on the story.
That’s what I wished would’ve happened after the episode The End. They started off so great, but then it lapsed into way too many funny episodes.
And, don’t get me started on Castiel’s role. He was in fewer episodes last season, but his role was important, He was a pivotal character. I feel like he had a bigger role last season with making fewer appearances than this season. This season, Cas’s role just didn’t seem too important. They really underused him this season. When he did appear, it seems like he was. I don’t know. I feel like they could’ve done so much more with is character.
Then I was watching Cas and Dean have eye-sex. I didn’t notice it before, but when I was watching it this time, I couldn’t help but be amused.
Why are Jensen and Misha staring at each other like that? Did they both just choose to make their scenes like that? They have great chemistry though.
I’m sorry for the rant but it was just on my mind.
