I wasn't too fond of it, unless in gumbo & swallowed on the spoon with other things. but then I had it fried, added a spot of catsup... they're not so bad. :)
Then again, I kinda had to learn to like them - the town I grew up in has an OKRA STRUT. a weekend devoted to the local dance teams, marching band, football team, politics & a giant blow-up okra wearing a sash. I wish I was making this up.
