I will admit that I was impressed by this episode. I actually enjoyed it, even though I was crying for Cas at many points and worried about my poor Sam.

I liked Cas and Crowley conversation.

I loved that Sam didn't give up on Cas completely. I loved that he made an effort to call out Cas that they would help him, although I felt like that should've been Dean. Then, I got to thinking that Dean wanted to truly believe that Cas was gone and not in there anymore because he couldn't stand the thought of Cas doing those things.

I loved the Cas and Death scene. Because this was Death talking Cas had to repsect what he was saying and realize he was heading down the wrong path and doing just some terrible things. I think it was Death that got through to Cas.

I loved that Dean, Sam, and Bobby helped Cas depsite everything. I think at the moment when Cas was getting ready to sacrifice himself (AGAIN), they moved toward some forgiveness.

I enjoyed how they faked us out and made us believe Cas was dead. (BASTARDS)

I loved that Dean and Bobby were sad at the thought of Cas dying and relieved that he was okay.

I loved how they did the scene that the Leviathans had taken over Cas's body.

I'm excited for this season (AND VERY RELIEVED ABOUT MY BB CAS)At least, we know it's not actually him being the big bad.

I'm worried about Sam though. I hope they don't drag out this wall thing. I don't want to see Sam go through that for too long. Hasn't he been though enough?

And also, one thing I didn't like was Dean. He was ready to kill Cas, while Sam wanted to try and talk some sense into him. WTF? Then Dean calls him a child, when he thinks Cas is dead. WTF again?

Overall, I really liked it. Now, if only they can keep it up.

Goodness, I hope so. I was thinking that, too, because if not - Dean is completely OOC.

This episode absolutely killed me dead. It was better than I anticipated, but the last five minutes were just too much! Too many twists! My emotions!!!! Real!Cas better come back. And Dean better give that little nerdy angel that hug he's been needing.

I really want to believe Dean was in that mindset and not being a douche and giving up on Cas.

I hated when he told Death to just kill him already.

Yeah, I was crying out many times during the episode. It was alot better than I thought it would be.

This makes me ecstatic. I thought it would be completely out of character for Cas to be bad, but I've always wanted Misha to play menacing. I'm excited to see him.

And Cas isn't dead. That makes me happy. He'll be back. And Dean will save him. Then they can finally be together forever.

I think I see your point. He kind of took a back seat in this episode. I was loving Cas, Sam, Crowley and Deat the whole time.

I don't think Cas is dead either. I truly believe he's in there somewhere. I'm interested to see how Misha plays the leviathans or if they're going to find a new vessel.

I think it was Death that got through to Cas.

I agree. It had to be someone Cas saw as an equal, and someone who wasn't openly attacking him (or hadn't already openly attacked him), and only Death could really fit the bill there. But I loved that Sam was also giving him a chance. Sam's one of the few people that really gets what redemption means, and I love seeing that in action.

Cas knew Death was one of the few beings that have seen God, and I think Death's words really struck something inside the Real Cas. That was one of my favorite scenes.

I was hoping it would be Dean, but I knew that was a long shot.

I'm just happy Sam realized that he knows what Cas is going through and decided to give him a chance.

It was beautiful~.

I'm so excited for this season I hardly know what to do with myself! The Leviathan(s?) thing was super creepy and Misha played it like a boss. THAT SMILE! Such a contrast to how STILL he was as Cas.

Misha killed that episode. He was amazing. I'm just glad to know that it's not really Cas, but the leviathans that have taken over his body.

I'm excited, too. I'm going to try and remain hopeful that they keep this up. Because this season premiere blew the sixth season one out of the water.

I feel like the show is going to bring Dean's depression/alcoholism to the forefront this season, and I think this was an element of that. It's not that he wasn't willing to forgive Cas—he certainly did quick enough once it looked like Castiel had come back from dying. It was just the same reason he wasn't all over worrying about Sam, that he just felt like there was nothing he could do and what he thought didn't matter.

DOUBLE THISSS I love that Sam actually mentioned that fact, b/c Sam's arc in s4 is SO similar to Cas's in s6 down to so many details, so I think he could really empathize...

First thing I did was LOL at this. I wonder why. XD This episode alone is better than alot of the sixth season.

I did mention somewhere that on another post that maybe Dean didn't want to believe that it was really Cas because he couldn't imagine the Cas he's known to do those terrible things.
I'll cut Dean some slack, but I just want him to stop being a douche. He's been on that road since early part of season 6. Hopefully, he'll actually show some character growth this season, like you said.

I loved that Sam did that. If anyone can understand Cas's predicament, it would be him. I loved that scene.

Glad you enjoyed the epp hon, I was wondering...I absolutely adored it, and was sooo happy to see Real!Cas back, however briefly, and even happier that it was SAM who saved him for the most part, the ~SASSY~ in me is still doing backflips, lol...:p

I did really enjoy it alot. That small glimpse of the realCas was worth all my cries of horror during the episode(Godstiel was creeping me out. I was so sure he was going to explode). XD

I'm glad Sam did that even with his wall broken. He was able to recognize that Cas needed their help and didn't give up on him. ;_;
